I look at several factors:

Roster and depth chart is fluid and may change but I see three potential problems that will keep us from being elite defensive team .Lack of a cb is key.medicore safties, missing a dominant DT.I fele we will finish a bit better than middle of the pack considering our schedule

On offensive, our coaches will have to pull a rabbit out of a hat to be a mid tier offense cosidering having inexperienced qbs.Our offesive line will have to stay healthy to move the ball down the field. We lose Otah and we are in the same situation we were last year.

Our schedule is brutal....we will have to get lucky and have one of our divisional rivals lose some people to injuries.I see five teams outside the division we can potetially win.We may get a freebie at the end of the season if someone sits their starters. We want make to winning season this year

Newton 19 TD's and 11 Int with 2900 passing yards. 450 rushing yards and 5 TD's.

Smitty breaks 1000 yards and has 5 td's.

Gettis even furthers his statement as the team's future #1 WR and has 50 + catch, 800 + yard season with 6 TD's.

Williams and Stewart combine for 2400 rushing yards and 26 rushing TD's.

Defense is top 12 and leads the league in sacks and Take aways.

Team goes 9-7.

AE has more TD's than Gettis and LaFell. Guys working the slot are almost looked at similar to TEs w/ rookie QBs.....safe outlets and the kid has moves.

said bold but realistic so....

cam starts from day 1 and throws for 2500 yards, 13 TDS 11 INTs (reasonable)

panthers as a team rush for 3000 yards (ranking them 3rd in NFL history, but considering who all we have and how often they'll be running pushing 600x, it can happen)

9-7 record, but miss playoffs (looking at that schedule, it's very achievable. i actually think we won't break .500, but this is my bold prediction)

we will have 1 punt return for a TD ending that drought thanks to armanti.

10th ranked defense in both rushing and passing

40 sacks

I like the prediction that Rivera gets a win before Fox

We get at least 7 wins this year.

Gettis will get at least 7 TD's

Cam will be the day 1 starter.

Shockey will be injured by week 3. Olsen is going to emerge as a star in our offense pulling in 65 receptions for at least 800 and 6-10 TD's.

We will have a top 10 rushing attack accumulating 2500 yards rushing between Williams, Stewart, Goodson and Newton....

we will be 7-9 - 8-8

the defense is going to scare teams

the QB play will be shaky at best but still better than last year

The running game is going to be killer at least 2000 yards

Greg Olsen is going to lead the team is catches with about 70
