I've been saying it since we drafted the guy...He is better than Mike Vick when Vick entered the league. He has all the potential in the world if we can keep him afloat this year and let him learn from his mistakes (assuming he will be mature enough to do that and take the criticism).

It's those "moments of brilliance" we've been missing around here lately... to have "moments of brilliance" in your first padded practice as a rookie QB means you are ahead of the curve, this is encouraging news.

TBH I sure everyone is going to be rusty the first real practice back. He needs to stumble early so he can learn from his mistakes and understand what it takes to be a NFL QB. He will progress because he is talented and smart.

I just hope that the coach's are able to work with Cam, and help him develop better then the coaching staff did last year with Clausen. We'll see how he'll do in the NFL in a few weeks though I guess.
