And he'd be jumping for joy if we went to the Super Bowl and suddenly those tickets are worth 3x or more face value (and don't give me "scalping regulation," it happens all the time).

I repeat ... over and over and over ... that PSL buyers KNOW (or should know if they're smart enough) what they're purchasing ... and a guarantee of a winning season every year, or even good decisions by the front office every year, are not part of what they are purchasing.

You do say it ove it over as if it is new information. It isn't. But that doesn't excuse his behavior or lack of putting out a competitive product. Just because it isn't in a contract or guaranteed doesn't make it right or fair. Any lawyer will tell you that. So yeah we are stuck, but I don't have to like it or keep quiet about it. If you want to remain a sheep, do so. I choose not to. And when I think it makes sense for me to sell them I will.

I stated a fact. I purchased my PSL for $3900, and I know I could get at least that right now for it.

Your claim was to the contrary.

No "old tired dogma" there.

I never said I was happy about how things have transpired through the years, but I understand enough to know that my purchase of my PSL gives me no right to say I was guaranteed a Super Bowl or back-to-back winning seasons or anything else. I was guaranteed the right to my seat year after year, if I continue to pay my season ticket fee as I agreed to do.

I'm talking about the contract and what it does and does not do.

The emotional stuff ... that's a different animal.

Point out one time where I said that my PSls guaranteed that we win the Superbowl or have back to back winning seasons. When you don't find it, give it a rest. The reality is that Richardson is the one who said we would win a SB and said he hired Rivera because Fox couldn't produce back to back winning seasons. So apparently that is his expectations. So it is unreasonable for me to expect the same?? I know it isn't guaranteed and never said it was. So why do you say the same old tired thing when no one else said it was guaranteed??

Argue to Riddell if you want to talk contract. That is not my issue.

The discussion has been regarding what is legally guaranteed and what is not, and I have responded accordingly.

Never said you have to like anything, never said you have to be quiet.

Stating facts doesn't make me a "sheep."

I choose to keep my PSLs for my reasons. You may choose to sell yours for your reasons.

Doesn't change the fact that your contract with the Panthers doesn't give you the right to anything beyond what you contracted for. That's all I'm saying.

I never said you couldn't get what you paid for it, I said I couldn't.

I agree that if you bought them 15 years ago and paid only 33% of what the Panthers value them at now, you might be okay. Aren't yours up for sale?? Let me know how that works out.

No that hasn't been my conversation at all. You are mixing conversations. Riddell is the one arguing contracts, I have been saying I feel ripped off and I am not happy about it and am letting my feelings out. You are the one constantly reminding me about the contract. I know what it says.

Stop it guys! ***slap*** Get a grip!

Move on to better things. JR's feelings were hurt, and the guy is just trying to save face (albeit very very weakly). JR was the alter ego of Al Davis last season who knew exactly what the fug he was doing by not spending at the fans' expense. I don't even know how this is a continued argument. I would suggest that you forgive him, but always remember where his mindset is. IF you can't deal with it, then sell yoour PSLs to the unknowing.

You asked:

Know anyone who is getting anything close to what they paid for PSls these days??

I have been offered more, but we are not desperate to sell at all. They are up for sale, but not out of desperation or because of the misery of last year's season. They are up for sale mostly for medical reasons, mine. But, I will continue to go to the games this year as long as I'm physically able to do so.

I hope the medical issues are manageable. And that you can hold onto the tickets until the franchise turns around and get a better value. While I may not agree with your views on everything, I certainly hope things go well for you in areas that really matter, like finances and health.

Truth is that given the changes he has made he might have salvaged his mistakes and we appear to be on a better path. Frankly if you can hold on, now would not be the time to sell if you don't have to. Once the economy improves and we actually win a few games, you might get a much better value.
