Very impressed!! However I agree with most ... don't ever do that unless it's a game winner or something to that degree.

Everyones sayingv to ease up, blsh blah blah. Thats old school right there. hes a football player for sure. besides if he doesn't do it now and then in a game he fails on a block everyone would say, "Oh he doesn't try or pay attention in practice."

not that big of a hit really, but very effective nonetheless. Original talk let me to believe the guy got parallel and left some poor defenseless Db looking through an ear hole.

Everyone should lighten up Francis about this

Jimmy would not have thrown that block.

Jake would have.

If anybody is concerned about Cam's health, then they should be worrying if he's learning how to finish a run by sliding instead of worrying that he might throw a block once in a blue moon.

The one thing that really bothered me about him in college, is the way he would kind of dive forward instead of sliding. If he does that in the NFL, he's going to take some real shots. I"m not a bit worried about him getting "broken in half" while he's on his feet though.

The way I see it is that if he had backed off and left Sutton hangin' on that particular play, the same people complaining that he made the block would be complaining that he DIDN'T try to block and that he left his teammate high-and-dry.

That's probably true. My point however is that if a QB wants to hit defenders in practice they should be able to hit him as well. It's good effort, but I personally wasn't impressed because it isn't like the defender was trying to hit him.
