Yeah that didn't help any. I know soccer or futball? is the biggest sport in the world but I also don't get Nascar. Ive really tried with both but it just isn't there for me.

With FFP coming in I doubt Barca will splurge that kind of money on a 30 year old. No way RVP is going for so much money. Somewhere around $40M.
What should Arsenal do? Van Persie is going to be 30 years old this year. He has never had a good season as an Arsenal player prior to 2011-2012 and this was his first season he was not injured. Arsenal can sell him for close to 60-70 million pounds and sign poo load of quality players or they can keep him and pair him up with Lukas Podolski... As much as I love Van Persie, I'd sell him to Barcelona...
The only way I see him leaving is if he demand to leave, which I don't see him doing.
On Podolski, not sure how good he'll be in epl, he's good for Germany but was below average for Bayern.

BREAKING NEWS - Dave Whelan tells ESPN "Roberto Martinez has flown to Miami and is meeting Liverpool right now."
Hopefully all he gets out of it is a lovely trip to Miami - Martinez should run far away from Liverpool.

Arsenal on a verge of signing striker Olivier Giroud, best striker in France last year... He's not a bench warmer. If signed, that's pretty much guaranteed RVP will be sold. Russian club Anghi that signed Eto to insane contract is ready to offer close to 60 million pounds for RVP...
Eden Hazard will pick between Manchester City and Manchester United next week. Considering that Hazard wants minimum of 200,000 million euro per weeks makes me believe he's going to Manchester City.

How can you sell Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy, Adebayor, Kolo Toure, and now RVP in 3 seasons and expect to compete in the EPL? I give them credit, to actually make a profit on player transfers while qualifying for the Champions League is a very impressive feat in the modern game, but at some point it makes it harder to retain your best players when they know the team is more concerned with the bottom line than with competing for titles
