If 'ole "JR" had listened to me, you would be in a much better position

Now?

By the time 'ole "Computer Repair" Newton is ready, you will be hamstrung by old vets on ridiculous contracts.

we have one of the youngest teams in the league.. try again.

all the while y'all just bet the farm on a kid who needs to score 30+ points just so you can ATTEMPT to stay in stride with teams raping your defense...

You're missing out big guy

Until you accept my beacon o' truth

That little kitty will never "haz" super bowl...

All i know is every post I have ever seen you make is largely irrelevant, biased, unwarranted, and lacking in credibility. For these reasons, I don't think I need to go anywhere near your "beacon o' truth."

And don't worry about the little kitty. He is very patient.

Given that Atlanta's defense was pitiful last year and wasn't upgraded this year, I can understand where Falcon fans are mad that we signed our core group and will be a top 10 defense this year. So they take pot shots where they can. Seems to me if Richardson who is writing the check and Hunrey who has to manage the cap aren't worried, then I don't know why a rival team's fan should give a crap. They should be happy we overpaid which prevents us from spending down the road. On the other hand if he is a troll trying to stir things up (my vote), then he is just fishing.

Don't feed the trolls.

I was explaining to my wife just now what a troll was. We realized she's one too, but it was at a time when she was a Failcans fan so I guess it's to be expected.

Don't worry...Panthers are her #1 team now. I'm not really sure if they are twice a year though.

Ray Edwards... Not an upgrade? (to a team already 5th in least ppg allowed)

But resigning same guys will vault panthers into upper echelon of defenses?

Carologic at its finest.

Not buying it.

I think advertising his twitter account tells you everything you need to know.. lol

Atlanta Falcons just broke the bank as a last ditch effort to win a SB before their TE and RB are forced into retirement..

and then it all goes downhill from there.. Matty Ice gets exposed, Roddy White starts slowing down, Ray Edwards is already 20823 years old, defense already sucks..

damn, ride this wave as long as you can Dtar... it won't be long before Atlanta is irrelevant for another 30+ years..

Please.

Blaming Fox won't cut it when the season begins user your new coach.

And your offense averages 11 ppg.

Actually, our offense averages 20 ppg and we're 1-0.

Your pitiful team lost to the Dolphins. THE DOLPHINS.

Nice try though.

Gonzo is done. I agree.

But Turner is 29, and has been a feature back for only 3 seasons.

Roddy is also 29, but his skill set will age well, plus WRs have longer, later primes.

Ray Edwards is 26. Not "20823."

Matty... Well... No comment (already exposed)

You're talking smack about preseason?

The Lions went 4-0 in PS the year they went 0-16

The Pats went 0-4 the year they went 16-0

It's meaningless

When our starters played, we went up 17-0 in half a quarter.

We then put in our practice squad.

And a good as cut QB

Not even your fellow panthers will take your side on this one.

Gonzo has been key for you guys and Matt Ryan.. and we both can agree a future hall of fame TE is going to be a big loss for an average-at-best QB..

Turner has been rode hard and dirty for 3 years, he doesn't have 3 more seasons in him.

Roddy will slow, without a run game, will be that much less explosive on top of that..

Ray Edwards, well, unless you really believe he was the 1 piece to stop Aaron Rodgers from doin you dirty.. pretty irrelevant to have brought up in the 1st place to p55..

Matty.. yeah, we agree.. and guess what, without a run game or go-to TE, it's only going to get worse..

enjoy the ride while it lasts.. which is about 2-3 years of y'all never making it to the SB, especially without some key draft picks..

what were you saying about the Panthers, youngest team in the league and alllll those old vets?

Turner has 1-2 left.

Roddy isn't slowing down for at least 4 more years.

You forget that we held GB to 14 pts in our first meeting. Has is ever crossed your mind that we had a bad game? Ray will help, but we just have to play better (and get a competent nickle)

Atlanta was 10th in overall defense...Carolina was 13th. Not a huge difference. Both were above average on defense.

With a new system in place that puts an emphasis on being aggressive...Carolina will greatly improve. We have big play makers on defense.

Your logic here proves our point about Deangelo Williams. Williams is 28...but has never been a true feature back. He has always split carries with another back. Williams is never abused in a game. He has many good years left in him. There is no point in being critical about our GM, who rewarded a top tier RB (who's career average is well over 4.0 ypc) that has been underpaid his entire career. Good players with high morale play much better than one with low morale.
