Hardy has Peppers lite potential but he has a way to go. He looks like he still needs to fill out his body. Johnson is stronger and more tenacious, maybe not as fast as Hardy but he doesn't have to be.

Ugo Chinasa = Young

This level of in-depth player analysis is way over my head. Mr. Scot - help.

One season as a starter. I'm not buying it. But I think Hardy has great potential and he SHOULD be able to turn that potential into Pro Bowl caliber play.

Johnson has steadily improved since coming into the league, and played lights out for his first season as a starter.

How many seasons as a starter has Hardy played? Why are you so quick to dismiss Johnson after playing a great season as a starter when Hardy doesn't even have that under his belt yet?

I think you could say we overpaid for Charles Johnson, but to suggest that Hardy is a better player is a little ridiculous.

Who do you think makes the biggest impact against Cincy?

Hardy, Gamble, or Smitty?

My vote is for Smitty... finally, :cam: is going to have a reliable receiver out there... and it should free up Olsen, as well as some of our other WR's.

:iagree: word for word how i would have put it, only problem for me is if he out plays Johnson do we have the money to resign him, seeing as he was a 6rd pick(I know i'm jumping the gun, but just saying)

Seriously, what does Peppers Lite potential mean? They aren't similar players and Peppers is known for questionable motivation. Peppers Lite doesn't sound like a good thing.

Hardy said he traded in his motorcycle for a new Chevy Avalanche.
“I have a really, really, really big truck now, so you can hit me all you want,” he said with a laugh.

second best thing about that article. Don't want Hardy to go off and pull a Jay Williams.

Him starting speaks more about how weak our defensive ends behind him are rather than how much talent he has.

Everette Brown, you will be lucky if you are on the roster in a couple weeks.

definitely possible, although I want to disagree based on how well Eric Norwood has played.. I wouldn't doubt Greg Hardy's potential just yet..
