Given his contract for next season and beyond, will the Panthers keep Jimmy Clausen as Cam's back-up in 2012?

He will be as long as he is under contract. He is a pretty cheap back up right now.

He's young and if we can keep him for cheap with his next contract I say we keep him as the backup. If he develops into something then we can rape someone like the Eagles did.

Well IF Cam plays well this season i see Jimmy as the backup until his contract runs out.


If Cam sucks it up and Jimmy takes over this season and plays ok i'll bet he gets traded early next season.
