it was his first start.
it was his second game.
he's still very green
right side of the line was nothing but backups.
he didn't have steve smith.
he was facing a pretty good defense (finished top 10 in passing D and rushing D)
panthers didn't game plan.
sooo...yeah...his results aren't going to be all that great.

We aren't expecting great results, just better overall play, regardless of outcome.

I expect the same for Cam.
They are "gameplanning" but really thier biggest accomplishment will be rallying the team (and the fans) behind the franchise QB.

The most important thing right now is making his teammates believe he can play in the NFL.

if you look at a lot of rookie QBs that started as a rookie, their "coming out party" was week 3 of preseason. for many, though, it was their first start.Bradford's real coming out party was preseason Game 3.
I expect the same for Cam.

Most of them also had Ota's and Mini camp.
