both were third round picks with relatively quiet seasons, both had a breakout year in their contract season and both subsequently signed nice contracts. Odom was released for under performing and so far in 2.5 games Charles Johnson has been MIA. Oh wait it is preseason, I should relax

Yeah, haven't seen anything this preseason- but it's just preseason. Having Hardy on the opposite side should help as well.

That's a LOT of money for someone not to produce.

Except Johnson has been impressive every year, he just didn't get teh snaps. He has been our most efficient pass rusher since his 2nd year
