There's a school of thought that you can measure how good your team really is by how many of your big cuts get picked up elsewhere.

I haven't measured how we're doing on that front, but my sense is we're not doing as well as, say, the Patriots on that front.

Dropping Robert McClain over RJ Stanford was an accident. I thought McClain played much better than Stanford over the past two years.

Thats funny because I think Stanford is better than McClain.

Brown will get picked up, just didn't get claimed because of his contract being under the old system. A few 3-4 teams had interest in him through the waiver process, just didn't pull the trigger. A few NFL guys laughing at Carolina for drafting him into the wrong system.
