A spark > Typical.

A spark isn't going to make the team learn new schemes better. Winning the first game would be nice, but it isn't going to be the difference between a 10-6 season and a 4-12 season.

That's because the so called sports talking heads that way to many look to for answers, are both lazy and way to sentimental. Even if some of them appear to know what they are talking about.

Every year they also predict the Patriots to make the Super-Bowl despite the fact that they haven't made it close to the Super Bowl since 2007. Heck even I predicted to Jets were going to beat the Patriots in the first play-off game.

Anyway, there is no gaurantee these sport media talking heads will automatically have a lovefest with the Panthers even if they do manage to pull off a miracle and make it into the superbowl or win in a couple of years like the the lovefest they are having with the Saints and Packers. Especially if Cam is at the helm. Many of these sports media folks have shown that they are very sentimental and Cam will never fit the image of an All American QB in some of their minds...JMO.

Those teams all have very good QBs. In a QB driven league of course they get talked about. If Cam wins the Superbowl he will get talked about, regardless of not fitting the "All American QB" mold you talk about.

Gruden thinks he's some sort of 'genius' as if he's the perfect fuging analyst about everything.

I wonder what he thinks about not having a coaching job because if he is as much of a genius he thinks he should still have a coaching job. :eek6:

I say we split with Saints and Bucs, beat the skins and beat chicago... other than that... we don't have much... worst team in league with hardest schedule = we suck again! Also, explain how we are rebuilding.. we have giant pieces that most teams would love to have and while we are rebuilding with scrubs those real pieces are getting older and more beat up... Barring a heck of a draft and FA on our part next year.. we are going down a long dark path... I pray I'm wrong
