If we don't draft Kalil, there's another good prospect in Jonathan Martin, left tackle for Stanford.

Yea, the Stanford guy is one of 4 I mentioned in the mock draft thread I'd be interested in if we're picking top 10. Some stuff I've read about him implies he'd be better as a RT anyway, his pass blocking score is only a 3 on the ESPN Scout Insider system for draft prospects. Kalil's is a 1. Picking a RT in the top 10 is a bit high, though. Ideally (if we're taking an OT) we can get Kalil and let Gross switch back to RT soon afterward. I wouldn't be disappointed with Martin though.

Outside of one missed block on a WR screen where he was out on the edge, Kalil was dominant last night. The entire Trojans o-line showed up keeping Barkley upright the entire contest. Along with helping the line to a zero sacks allowed performance, Kalil almost blocked another kick in the game....

Probably the next Joe Thomas and won't be available when we pick, even if we pick third overall.

Depends on the DB depth in this draft and how good the CBs this year look. If there is a can't miss Patrick Peterson type shut down corner then I say take him. I'm sick of seeing our DBs get smoked week in and week out by mediocre WRs. We need help all over the field but with Otah's injury prone-ness I agree that Kalil becomes a guy we have to look at if we're in position.

The other position I want to address eventually is WR. But I think that if Gettis comes back completely healthy he could be a STUD in this offense. He had GREAT speed and pretty good hands as well so I think we pass on Jeffery and Blackmon (even though I'd love to have them). So right now I'd have to say you take whoever is the best of the CB prospects and OT prospects. Address NT in free agency.

I do not think we should draft a WR early in this coming draft. CB depends a lot on how Hogan turns out I think. Gamble is a great corner but he's aging.

Defensive tackle, linebacker, offensive tackle in that order. Bpa in any of those positions is what i think we should do. If kalil is there though we better pick him. I have a feelinh we are gonna go on a winning streak tho :)

I still think Blackmon is our pick if he's available even though WR isn't a huge need right now. Don't think he will be though, Rams have gotta be drooling over the chance of taking him.
