I skipped what appears to be a pissing contest in this thread.

Floyd/Blackmon/Jeffries all appear to be solid prospects at this point.

What I think we need to look for in our next WR.

Catches with Hands.
Speed
Size
Willing to BLOCK
Attitude

The only reason I would hate the Panthers picking Alshon Jeffery is having to read people misspelling his name even more. It's Jeffery. Singular. I know he plays like he's possessed, but he's only one man. Jeffery. Not that difficult.

If we draft Alshon Jeffery there is no way teams would be able to put 8 in the box on us, it would literally be suicide. Our offense would be feared all around the league hands down. He definitely has my vote, its just to much of an edge to the team overall than taking a defense player that high in the draft. There are no suhs, Revis, or Aso's in this draft on defense, plus i think putting Cam in the best position to succeed is priority one anyway, which it should be and this is coming from somebody who loves defense as far as football goes.

We also have free agency and trades to help improve DT and CB next year. Not to mention guys on IR coming back so we dont even truly know how good we can be with what we already have on the team.

You can't go wrong with Jeffery or Blackmon. They would bring another dimension to this offense. I would love a DT or CB but there's not any particular one that stands out worth taking early. A trade down would be great and a lot more feasible with the new rookie wage scale.

I'm more impressed with Blackmon more than Jeffrey this season, Floyd has been pretty outstanding top, though I'm wary about drafting anyone from ND other than OT.

I love what I've seen of Floyd. He's also a very good, aggressive blocker downfield. Reminds me of Moose out there blocking in the run game. My only question is his ability to stretch the field, which is a must for our #1 WR. I know Alshon can't do that well enough.

I'd honestly be just fine with giving up our 2nd rounder to move up and get Blackmon. Seriously. I think he's going to be THAT good and would be an absolute terror for defenses in this offense with Cam throwing to him.

We have more holes than one pick in the first three rounds could fix. I love Blackmon, but our problems are on D and we already invested our third in Olsen.
