The injury to Beason could be very serious :frown2: (god forbid), but this is a major blow to our defense. At the same time I am hopeful about our offense and Newton's stellar performance. I know we have a good back-up in Connor, but Beason is such a good guy and a major competitor who doesn't deserve a injury like this. No matter what we will remain strong.

I will hope and pray his career isnt over. Never want to see someone go down like that, no matter what team they play for.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I would like to know who ok'd him to even be on the field today.

He ok'd himself, Gantt confirmed as much. I'm sure he told the trainers he felt fine and wanted to be out there and the trainers said you know your body best....

Achilles is a worse injury than an ACL.

I have no doubt Beason will fight this with all his heart, but I'm saying he may not be the player he was. Hopefully I'm wrong.
