We Didn't Have Any FG Attempts

Isn't that crazy

Imagine just getting atleast 2 all the way up to that last drive. We could have won without having to score

I'm still baffled that we didn't attempt a 52 yard FG and instead opted for a punt with a net of 15 yards....

i dunno why you bring in mare if you don't trust him enough to even try a 52 yarder.

Unless we talking a blowout I cant even think of a game where a team doesn't have atleast 1

We was in their territory multiple times

Was it the possession where Cam was tackled for a loss on third down that pushed us out of range, supposedly?

I said in chat I thought it was weird that the score was 21 instead of 9

That is funny but for real, we came to a crashing halt at their 40 yard line several times, it could have been a blow out in our favor.

Too many 0 or negative yards on 1st down with those runs right up the middle.

Needed to use screens and slants more vs that style of defense.

I can't believe that we didn't offset their constant blitzing with more screens or at least some draws or quarterback sneaks. Especially down around the goal at the end of the game. That was one thing that worries me. I felt like we did a good job of picking up their blitzes for the most part...seeing as they sent the house almost every play. But we should have had some plays to combat that constant blitzing other than making Cam stand in there and make a play on his own. He was incredible today...but I felt needed some help in various areas. Looks like we got our QB...imagine if we would have ran some screens or something more to catch them offguard...we would have blown them out. With a few more peices to our puzzle...DL...some form of a running game again...we will be a force to deal with. It was a good start...let's see where it goes from here.

Imagine being: deangelo..... Come on, just give me the ball, its 3rd and I wont lose yards....

Imagine being the o line.... All we have to do is block long enough for a short dump off so we can stay in fg range.....

I personally watched mare in warm-ups and he leg from 59, so why did we keep calling pass plays while we were in fg range?

    • I don’t care if this is only 4 players, I think we should capitalize on the talent in this draft and get who we want.  Here’s 4 potential starters at critical spots:       Jamal Adams SS LSU 6’1 This guy elevates the defense.  Arguably more than any other player in the draft.  I know we want offense but Adams is hard to ignore if available.     John Ross WR Washington 5’11 188 4.22 I want a playmaker and this is a playmaker.  If Davis and Williams go first and he’s in the 20s, we’re trading up.  I believe this as much as raspberry milf juice.  This ain't just about 4.22.     Jordan Willis DE Kansas State 6’4 255 10” hands 33.5 arms Another defensive linemen? But we've got Peppers, CJ, and Addison! Yeah and now Horton and Delaire are going to be off the team.  This footballer is projected to go higher that a ton of people are surmising and has been having a meteoric rise (that is once online browser-writers realized how high scouts are looking at him)      Jeremy McNichols RB Boise State 5'9 214   I will call him speedy-rumble mctubberjackal.  Absolute ownage in many regards.
    •   Except Voth didn't suggest that at all.  The OP misinterpreted the tweet and everyone just followed suit.  What Voth actually suggested in a response to a question was that while we could sign him to a long-term extension, we probably wouldn't right now.    He didn't say anything about the option except that nobody has been talking about it (simply pointed it out, forshadowing a question he was planning to ask).  No implication was made whatsoever!!   Greg @panther1gb89 @BlackBlueReview can a extension be done instead of picking up the option or does the option need picked up first?
    • And this sucks. Bye Oakland. Bye San Diego. Bye St. Louis (no one cares about the last one)... but who's next?   Hopefully Jacksonville, but hopefully not to London. Ugh.   But not going to lie though, a Panthers game in Las Vegas does sounds like a pretty fun weekend.
