You have to have perspective here. A FG on that drive would have been nice; however, for whatever reason, maybe the coaches didn't trust Mare kicking it from that length yesterday. They see more of him than we do.

Also consider the fact that for a few consecutive series, we were losing the field position game. A missed FG wasn't going to do us favors, so the punt made sense in order to swing the field back more level.

Games NEVER come down to one play.

It would have been a 58 yarder and Rivera made the right call. ST's didn't execute, simple as that.

Things that bothered me were getting scored on by Jeff King, and Beason getting hurt in the same play. And the last person I wanted to make anyways was PP7, and unfortunately he took a punt to the house to win the game...

I was concerned with play calling, we were in FG range but instead of running the ball or calling for a roll out or even a quick slant and staying in FG range they had Cam drop back with an all out blitz coming and he was sacked. I love Cam and he had a great game but we need to get points whether it's 3 or 7 so the coaches have to be better at calling certain plays.

In all fairness it did kind of looked like he called for the fair catch when he put his hands up to catch the ball and you just don't expect someone to try and return that ball when they are surrounded. Just a great run by PP and poor tackling on our part.

Taking sacks instead of running a play up the gut on 3rd to save fg, posistion rather then punt is what killed us, 2 fgs and that last drive would have only needed a fg to win

it's hard to single out one play, but the holding call on Jonathan Stewart's long run in the first half was a huge momentum killer. the same could probably be said about Olsen's drop on 3rd down and a few other penalties, though.

Legs blew those two passes at the end of the game. He stumbled on the first and failed to fight through a jam and therefore failed to even make a play on the ball on the second pass.

I don't understand why they were even thrown to him. Olsen or Smith should have gotten those balls.

Totally disagree as a former Player and Coach at a high level I was taught the game is won or lost on 1 or 2 plays over the course of the game you just don't know which play so you go all out every play. Most close games come down to a single play-who executes is generally the winner. Cards out executed the Panthers on a punt return plain ans simple. Panthers then failed to execute in the red zone on the last play. 2-3 plays decided that game.

LOL, wow. What lost us the game was the Defense and special teams.
