No where did I state they were better than the original, but you can tell me that they were not good movies that deserve any type of consideration?


sorry, you're right. they are great movies, especially Mag.7. But for me, a movie can't be that great if every time I sit down to watch it, I wish I was watching the movie it was based on.

But you're right, the question was best remakes, not "remakes that were better than the originals."

The new "Thing" is a prequel, not a remake (it's about what happened to the Swed...uh, Norwegians).

For that matter, fist full of dollars and for a few dollars more are both great even if they aren't better than the originals.
