All I know is... 2 people were shot by the same gun, Davis had that gun.

They never found the gun, how could you know all that?

He was executed?

Not officially but they just had another 50 state troops come to help crowd control. Decision is already made inside. CNN said decision should be made by 8:30pm so I expect it officially within 10-15min.

If he did not do this...why is he in jail.

Based on all the recants, new testimony, etc...should he be released?

I'm not FOR the death penalty. I don't mind some jerk being in jail till they rot. I prefer psychological punishment for the rest of their lives.

Wow are you really this naive?

When it comes to the death penalty, they should either be 100% correct, or it shouldn't be used.

Thanks for your opinion. Noted.

Doesn't this seem to happen whenever someone is about to be executed?

researching laws, making sure there is no precedent for something like this, or weighing the options of a future precedent, no matter what they do.

Just a guess.

Legally, the State of Georgia does not have to wait for the Supreme Court to decide. They can go ahead and execute him if they want to. I think it is smart for them to wait; if they execute him and the Supreme Court comes out and says they would have granted a stay, well, Sherman's march through Georgia would be child's play compared to what these protestors might do.
