Looks like he may be departing Seattle. With our weakness at the LB position would he be worth a 5th or 6th pick in a trade?

wasn't he the "Andrew Luck" of his draft. The can't miss player who would surely succeed?

They are benching him for poor performance. With that being said , I doubt they'd let him go for a 5th or 6th round pick at this point. Hes only 25, Move was probably just made to light a fire under his ass.

Defiantly worth it, we actually develop linebackers here in Carolina. Change of scenery won't hurt him either, especially considering this is his home team. He's from Fayettenam

Havent heard his name ever on Sportscenter. Two of my buddies are from WA. and they never mention him either when they talk about the Hawks...wonder why?

The Seahawks' previous leadership drafted Curry when the former Wake Forest linebacker was considered the safest player available in his draft class. Curry had all the measurable traits teams seek in linebackers. He was, by all accounts, a hard worker who wanted to be great. But the Seahawks never seemed satisfied with Curry projecting only as a strongside linebacker. They figured a player drafted so early should add pass-rush value and contribute in other ways.

Curry has yet to develop in those areas. Wright, meanwhile, remains full of promise.

Found this interesting. Seems like he could be a good linebacker. Maybe Hawk could add some insight on Curry.

He may be worth it, also he's from NC.

Seahawks, don't know how to develop talent. Bring him in. :cam:

Yeah, the guy was a beast at Wake Forest. Like someone else posted, they may not let him go for a 5th or 6th pick, but wouldn't it be nice.

If we're not going to pick up a new starter at DT where we're ranked dead last, we're not going to do it at LB. Stop getting your hopes up about these signings.

We never thought Hurney would trade for Olsen. ;)

Yeah, we never thought it would happen. That's the kind of move Hurney makes. Not a move that the fans are whining for. If we sign or trade for someone it's going to come out of the blue.
