I love movies and hate paying for them. So, I'm using Frostwire to try to download torrents and I keep getting movies with no sound. I downloaded True Grit, the video quality is great, but no sound what so ever and this isn't the first time I've had this problem. It was an avi and I tried to watch it with Windows Media Player, which is what I always use and nada.

Any suggestions? Better places to hijack movies? Anything?

And please remember, I am computer stupid so make sure it's Barney level insight.

Thanks.

btjunkie.org is much much better than piratebay with seeders imo.

In your audio options, make sure to set your sound output to 2-ch stereo...there's a good chance it's running in 5.1 by default. And VLC is the way to go.

Exactly right. Also http://file.sh/ in case you can't find what you want from PB.

What they said. In addition some files require xvid/divx codec if you don't have it installed.
