Thinking about the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, wondering if the NFL should adopt some form of a Lottery. Maybe bottom 5 or 10 teams get into a Lottery similar to NBA to determine who gets #1 pick.

This would protect the integrity of the game and keep coaches/GM"s from potentially tanking season to land an Andrew Luck. Thoughts.

IMO tanking a season does more harm than good in the long run, especially if you're a team in a tough sports market. Just look at last season's debacle for the Panthers. Even though we have star power again in Newton and Smith and an exciting brand of football, the stadium isn't nearly as full as it could be.

I have no problem with a team trying to tank for Luck since as a fan I experienced "tanking" for Luck last year.

No thanks. The lottery is a flawed system and it's easily manipulated. It's why the NBA is the biggest joke in professional sports.

Yeah and I'd do it for each round. It would really make for exciting viewing. Figure in Each round the Worst team would get 32 draws the second worst 31 and so on for each team.
