I hope he is around when we pick Just so we can get depth in a trade from a team wanting Griffin.

we won't get him, if Colin Capernick can get drafted in the 2nd round this guy is gone by the 4th (the absolute earliest we would possibly pick him up)

I'm fine with Derek Anderson as the back up. There's much bigger holes that needs to be filled besides a QB who will never see the field.

True. I like the kid is all. Watch out for him. Could be a poor mans Cam.

RG3 is 5'11(on a good day) & 220.

He's accurate as all hell, but that's going to be hard to duplicate in the NFL with 6'6 O-lineman on a consistent basis.

He'll probably still beast it up & be taken in the first round.

NFLdraftscout has him listed at 6'2" (of course they have been wrong before). If he is under 6' he wont get drafted in the 1st 2 rounds IMO. Remember Troy Smith?

Bullshit he isn't. Look at him compared to the other guys on his team that are listed at even 6' and above.

There's many QBs that have their listed height arbitrarily raised, especially when they're shorter than average.

I didn't say he'd fail because of it, but he's not 6'1 by far.

Geno Smith outta WVU makes a lot of sense as well. He's completing almost 65% of his throws and has a 4/1 TD/INT ratio this season (a 3.3/1 over his career) and he has pretty good athleticism. No clue where he will be drafted (and he is a JR so it might be next year before he comes out) but I would love him in the later rounds as a backup.

Skip ahead to the 1:15 mark.

I think a project QB to backup Cam would be a very smart move this draft. I agree though at the earliest it would be in the 4th. Load the defense up first and foremost
