I guess 49er fans would rather have Alex Smith than both Dalton and Newton since they are 4-1 under him this season.

I think it is. And with Pittsburgh struggling the way they are Cinci could finish 2nd in the division.

Here's another perspective for our resident Cam hating asshat...

CIN 27 @ CLE 17

CIN 22 @ DEN 24

SF 13 @ CIN 8

BUF 20 @ CIN 23

CIN 30 @ JAC 20

http://www.nfl.com/standings

Right now the Bengals have scored 110 points, versus our 116. But they have only allowed 94 points versus our 132 allowed. They are winning because of their defense (or more appropriately, we are losing because of our injury depleted D).

Dalton has 6 TDs in the air and 1 rushing TD. His QB rating is 78.7

Newton has 7TD in the air and FIVE rushing TDs. His QB rating is 84.3

You put Cam Newton on the Bengals, and they are most likely 5-0, not 3-2.

Why do you even post here if you can't get behind our franchise QB?

You're taking it beyond "Giving him his due", when you say you wish we had drafted him, when we drafted better.
