i've always believed coaching makes the difference in close games. small decisions here and there are what makes a coach.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but it's good to have you back.

?

I was thinking the same thing.

Good game. Next game is ours.

True, but his arm strength has never been exceptional. As soon as Delhomme lost a few spins on his throws the INTs piled up and he never looked the same.

we could have ended it very early if we hadn't stalled on so many drives in your territory.

uhh what

Delhomme relied on arm strength and was never a guy with great mechanics.

im just glad ATL and TB turned out to be flukes because it will allow the panthers to rebuild faster than it would have taken had they turned out legit

funny that i thought NFC South was the best division in football last year

they have mediocre-good QBs in a passing league. neither team has a good defense and you see where that leads. Carolina played the two top NFL teams close in N.O and GB, that says something.

I hate the saints and all but to somehow compare a shoulder surgery from 6 years ag to jake's post Tommy John issues (namely throwing the ball 10 feet over receiver's heads) is just about asinine.

plus i don't think brees ever really had a strong arm

he's just accurate as fuuuuuu

he may not be able to launch it like cam/stafford/cutler/etc, but he can anticipate the smallest fuging window imaginable and fit it in

Payton has coached up Kerry Collins(enough to get to the SB), Romo, and now Breesus. I'm confident if we draft a talented guy that he can mold him into an adequate replacement.

that's what im jelly of

teams like the pats, saints, colts, etc

teams that have guys who at the very least have 3-4 years left. they aren't going to be in a position to develop a QB like Carolina or Rams in one season. can draft guys here and there and find the right fit. wouldn't surprise me if the Saints picked up a high QB within the next few years.
