he was showboating and it was awesome. that doesn't make the hit legal.

Only person worse is Cowherd. And that's because Colin is serious when he makes his idiotic statement.

maybe I was too drunk...but how the heck is slowing down (with no dance) showboating? Smith wasn't even turning back to look

As for the play itself, I will go back and watch it, because I swear I don't think Smitty knew another defender was bearing down from his blindside. He kept looking back over his right shoulder to see if Greer was giving chase. You'll notice right before he is hit in the endzone, Smitty glances left real quick as if he just detected someone in his peripheral vision. He certainly wasn't directing any taunting towards Harper, at least it didn't look that way to me. He just slowed his stride thinking there wasn't a defender nearby. That's how I saw it.

I fuging love how Smitty bounced up and spun the ball.

I think it is also great how he did not fight until his teammates were involved. He showed restraint until he was protecting his teammates.

fuging love me some Smitty.

He probably knew Harper was coming but as was obvious by how late Harper hit him he knew he could slow down and still easily get the TD.

Honestly though, some do try and avoid some of the hapless media types, like your bayliss and cowherds of the world. They say dumb things to make a name for themselves, hate to see people helping their cause by posting their crap here.

i honestly wouldn't know what these clowns are saying if it weren't for them getting attention in here.

i don't watch ESPN except the occasional MNF when it's not a lame game between teams i don't really care about.

i don't use their website much at all (except for my 1 fantasy league) and the occasional stats, though they are probably the 4th or 5th option in that regard. some of the twitter accounts i follow might have links to articles there, but really i don't have much of an idea about what bayless and cowherd or really any of the guys say over there.

what i see in here lets me know that i'm not missing much by not going there. for that i am thankful.
