I didn't say he was entertaining. I said he was an entertainer.

Let me ask you a question, are all entertainers entertaining?

Are all comedians funny? Is Hayden Pwhatumacallher a good actress?

Get where I'm going?

Skip must be new to football, just about every single touchdown has the scorer slowing down a bit as they cross the goaline.

This is showboating. Learn the difference.

Not that it means much, but if that had been the other way around how many of you guys would be switching sides on the argument or secretly giving Skip his props?

I know I wanted Gamble to go for the personal foul when that rook Ingram low-classed it in the endzone. Harper just had a better chance to make it at least look like a part of the play.

eliminate it how? it's a personal game, sometimes things get heated. Part of the game is intimidation and intimidation only comes through pain.

they need to help elimated by dishing out HUGE fines for garbage teams like NO.

can't allow teams to use illegal hits as part of their gameplan.....NFL needs to do it's part to discourage such practices. Only reason the Saints got to the Superbowl was b/c the refs allowed the Saints to execute their gameplan against Brett Favre.

i dunno. I agree the Saints are a much more aggressive and sometimes dirty team. They ride that line with their defense, but the rules are in place, it's the ref's job to enforce. You can't go throwing people out of games because their hit came a second late. Then the refs are really affecting the outcome of games. You penalize them and fine them after the fact. That's about all you can do imo.

If they want to be serious about fines they should fine percentages of game checks instead of flat numbers. it's unfair to fine an undrafted FA $20,000 and for somebody like james harrison, it's nothing.

no you can't....but you can throw Harper out fo that game for his. You can also fine them a REAL fine. Most NFL fines a jokes that do not discourage the action being fined.

The first time they get complaints from the Packers or Patriots or Cowboys, the league will put a stop to their dirty play. Until then we just have to hit back.

entertainers are entertaining.

people who try to but can't are called hacks. he's not an entertainer. there is nothing remotely entertaining about him. that's why he's not an entertainer. that's like calling someone with an IQ of 6 a genius.

disagree 100%.

NFL has a BAD habit of determining punishment based on the outcome of plays. Let's say on that pointless and planed late hit he blew Steve Smith's knee out and he was done for the year.

.....you don't think Harper then catches MUCH harsher punishement?

Punishing guys based on the end result of what occurs....is too flawed.

What Harper did was 10x worse than a player throwing a single punch at another wearing a helmet. What Harper did could of ended Smitty's season....blind side hit to what essentially is a defensless player. Lucky for Smith he peaked and had a slight moment to brace for it.
