OR... It means we hit a motherfuggin Gold mine in Bell! I'd like to think we got the ladder on this deal.

So happy for Bell right now, especially after hearing his story. Good for him and the Panthers!

lol. This team has adored Byron Bell since prior to the draft.

Lol at you guys who still can't grasp we won't be drafting Matt kalil next year BECAUSE of Byron Bell. Say it with me.

Byron Bell will keep the Panthers from pursuing a big name offensive tackle. He has played extremely well, and even though I didn't know that because I don't pay attention, I will refrain from making ill informed responses about the topic because it has become clear to me that Byron Bell will keep the Panthers from pursuing a big name offensive tackle. He has played extremely well, and even though I didn't know that because I don't pay attention, I will refrain from making ill informed responses about the topic because it has become clear to me that..Repeat.

Don't post again about our offensive tackles until you have come to grips with this.

I almost made a thread on Bell after the Aints game. He was playing the pass rush much better than Otah. I will re-watch the game to pay attention to the run blocking, but don't hate on Bell, b/c once he gets recognition for his play it's too late to jump on the bandwagon. I actually feel more comfortable with Bell in their against the pass rush than Otah, even this early in his career. More to come at some point on his run blocking in comparision to Otah. Oh yeah, & he's hasn't been hurt all of the time either. We need someone we can count on.

Otah has always and will always be more of a run blocker. Bell has excelled in pass blocking compared to Otah and is only a mild downgrade in run blocking.

What this tells me is either you guys are right, or we waaaay overspent on a starting RT, that may never become our LT.

I'm hoping it's the former and not the wait.. ladder? I think you mean latter :D
