In 2003, we won a bunch of very close games, eventually making the Super Bowl.
In 2011, we have and will continue to lose a bunch of very close games, and eventually we will have a high draft pick.
I guess the NFL really is a game of inches. Any single game can be won or lost by a single play.
I know it's tough, Panther fans, but the future is bright. I want wins now, just as much as everybody else does, but we're set up for a great future. In the words of the great Sam Mills, keep pounding.

Not when we lose close games again and again. But we'll push through soon enough.

This season most reminds me of the 1-15 2001 season where we lost so so many games in excruciating fashion in the final minutes. Look up the final scores from that year and you'll see the point differential is pretty similar in a lot of those games to now.

In 03, we had a veteran offense, and a very good defense.
