So who would you like the Panthers to draft with our 4th overall pick?

Alshon Jeffery?

Best DT on the board?

Try to find a team wanting to trade up and compile picks?

Not that I think we'll be drafting that high, but if there's a team who wants to move up for a QB then I would love to move down and pick up some extra picks....

Little premature. We've been a second half team before. Look at the 2009 season.

As far as who I want, I want a solid DT or a linebacker with the first pick. WR just isn't smart, considering the depth and youth of our receivers. Sure, an Alshon or Blackmon would INSTANTLY improve our WRs, but we have bigger needs. Need DT/LB first and foremost. Then, in the 2nd round, we take which ever we didn't take in the first round between DT/LB. 3rd round, we take a DB/WR/OL. Whichever position has the best guy. After that, it's just depth wherever we need it.

Olsen was our third round pick....and well worth it....

DT class this draft is really weak. I'd like to see us trade for Terrance Cody if possible/reasonable. JMO

I think Cody is a starter with the Ravens now.

Need a NT no doubt but you don't pass on Jeffery unless you get a Julio Jones type trade offer which I guess is possible.

Its a tough one, if Jeffery or Blackmon are considered elite sure things. We do need a solid #2 and more importantly a future #1 to takeover for Smith

Despite flashes of brilliance here and there, we're a young team that's clearly not ready to compete at this point.

Oh btw spoiler alert for the 2011 season: the Packers will probably repeat.

i would take blackmon/jeffery or trade back no more than 3 spots to ensure we get whichever one is still available. gotta make sure we have a franchise WR after smitty leaves.

then we'll have two high seconds where we can draft a OLB (doubt zack brown will fall that far - maybe travis lewis? idk). could also grab a DT or CB. CB is fairly deep this year and DT is really, really bad. might not be one to go in the top 20 picks unless someone begins to play out of their mind and/or has an excellent combine.

Best available defensive player. For the whole draft.
