Jerry Richardson: "I have not thought about Jim Harbaugh as a head coach"

Recommended Posts

Wish I had your insight...

Me too. prickhead! Kidding.

I meant 'knew' in the subjective way that anyone (including paid NFL professional scouts) 'know' about any other human being.

Hope that makes you feel better about yourself tho. :Angel_anim:

lulz we really gonna act like Jim Harbaugh would have coached here?

How would we know?

We never thought about him.

Went after a castoff who was turned down 11 times. Wonder why??

Of course you all will be butt hurt about my comments for a while until I am right yet again.

I really get tired of being right.

Well at least you posted this, so in the event that Rivera and Co. light up the league next year and the 49ers revert to garbage...it'll be your turn to 'be right'.

You can bump any of my predictions anytime.

I rarely miss.

I'm sure I could dig up some threads from 2009 about how we should have hired Josh mcdaniels after his 6-0 start...

Must be fun living in a dream world.

if you legitimately think Harbaugh would have ever came here, I think you should probably step away from the internet because you're doing it wrong.

keep grasping at straws people

I agree with you on this, BUT...it's strange that the owner of the worst team in the NFL would avoid 1 of the top candidates (who is also tied to the best QB coming out). Right or wrong, it struck me as strange when JR said that.

Where did I make any such statement?

For the record:

http://www.carolinahuddle.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2887327&postcount=6

According to all the rumors:

We were interested

We had representatives in the tunnel after the Orange Bowl

Harbaugh would not return our calls and had no interest

JR lied and said something to the effect of 'we haven't thought about Harbaugh'

A coveted coach won't even talk to us. Not good.

Call me crazy....

And who is to say Harbaugh won't start to suck and screw up next week, or next year? Tony freaking Sporano went 11-5 his first year. I'll say it again...TONY FREAKING SPORANO. Oh yeah, he inherited a team that just went 1-15, then went 11-5, 7-9, 7-9, and now this year.
