Inside the Numbers: Cam Newton - Week 7

Recommended Posts

I think we're pass having to examine all of Cam's incomplete passes, so going forward, I'll only add his completed passes, as well as his runs.

As for the few haters still out there, sorry but no more negative plays added to these clips.

Can someone post the embed code for me?

You use <yt> then insert the alphabetic code found after the equal sign (=) in the Youtube address followed by </yt>.

But instead of using angle brackets like typed above (< >) use square brackets ([ ]).

It will look like this (for example):

<yt>UTe98RG6</yt>

(But with square brackets not angle brackets)

He is going to have great games, good games, and bad games. Let's just all remember that he is a rookie, and look back at the great ones before throwing him under the bus when he has the bad ones.

So what was Smitty eating from that bowl? Ranch?

Gotta keep feeding him when he's hungry. My favorite play of Smitty's was the catch (10:40) where he was just styling on Washington near the sideline.

Didn't notice too much of this but we did run somewhat of a variation of the pistol on that risky option play (12:20).

Also, it's funny watching Steve be the decoy on the LaFell TD (15:50). He actually raises up a bit like the ball is coming his way. Not sure it made a difference but Smith really has no problem playing the decoy role.

Did you notice how Smitty didn't interfere with Lafells TD celebration? Now that's a true professional.
