#20 has been amazing this year, and got a well deserved pick sunday.
He is having-without a doubt-the best year of his career. He has been a true shutdown corner-something he has never been even in his best years. The guy has just absolutely locked his side of the field down. He's been a staple of this team for a long time, and has truly achieved elite status this year. Props to the great Gambino, and a shout out for tying with Eric Davis' as the all time Carolina Panthers interception leader.

I'd like to see some advanced statistics regarding the corners this season, but I have to say he does look reenergized.

He has also helped a bit in run support.

It's a shame Beason went down, I really think we would be talking about a much better Defense. :(

Props for this. My favorite Corner in the league. Since i have been looking on this message board i have seen all the threads and comments about people bashing him and i always had urges to post back and defend him but i held back because i always knew his play would speak for him on the field. You never here his name because he is always doing his job right and is just not a flashy player. Sometimes i think people just wish he was more like Revis and be a playmaker along with locking down his man so that justifies sayin he sucks but that doesn't matter to me at all as long as he locks down his man and gives up no TDs. Props to Gamble. Definitely a pro bowler in my book.

This is usually the case for most corners. They only get noticed if they are flashy or doing horrible. Never when they are just simply doing what they are supposed to do.

I've always respected Gamble and joined the huddle right around when everyone was bashing him. I was very confused to say the least.

always thought gamble was pretty good, but he's definitely playing his best this year. he's been putting the locks on #1 receivers around the league. larry fitz, greg jennings and roddy white were all contained by this guy

This is not his best season. Refer to 2004, 2005. However he's been the defense's Steve Smith this season: dependable to say the least, and resurgent.

I think a lot of guys just got tired of Fox and the way things were being ran. Now with the new coaching staff and Cam, I think everyone has been rejuvenated and realize that the organization now acts like it cares about winning.

Also Ron Fields, Thomas Davis, Omar Gaither and so on.

I think there were some high hopes for the D going into the season but injuries happen. Hogan coming back is going to be awesome. He is an exciting physical football player than can go get the ball. He can be like the Steve Smith of the defense.
