I think a lot of guys just got tired of Fox and the way things were being ran. Now with the new coaching staff and Cam, I think everyone has been rejuvenated and realize that the organization now acts like it cares about winning.

I'd like to see some advanced statistics regarding the corners this season, but I have to say he does look reenergized.

He has also helped a bit in run support.

It's a shame Beason went down, I really think we would be talking about a much better Defense. :(

Also Ron Fields, Thomas Davis, Omar Gaither and so on.

I think there were some high hopes for the D going into the season but injuries happen. Hogan coming back is going to be awesome. He is an exciting physical football player than can go get the ball. He can be like the Steve Smith of the defense.

Always been a good corner. Let's see how Butler comes along this season.

In 2005, he and Ken Lucas were one of the top 3 duos in the league at CB. Lucas was never the same mentally after Seneca Wallace (Seattle's backup QB remember) burned him in the NFC Championship Game. Gamble stayed good throughout 2006, had a poor year in 2007, was better in 2008, and then had sucked since then until this year. Gamble has been extremely inconsistent and never talks to anyone and that's why he flies under the radar when he does have a great year like he is this year.

wasn't fox using him in a different way than rivera is? is he doing more man coverage now, something he is more comfortable with?
