wonder how most of the 3rd world countires would have done the last 25 years WITHOUT capitalism?

it's hard to say that argentina, chile, and bolivia wouldn't have been better off.

Whoever decided to give credit to people who most likely were going to default on loans needs to carry a large burden....

but not nearly as large a burden as the people who could not afford what they were buying

Just my opinion.

It's called personal responsibility.

his sentiments are correct. white greed is what caused our economic collapse.

If Brazil bankers invested in these toxic securities, wasn't it their own greed that caused their specific problems?

Agreed rodeo, but I would also add that rampant homosexuality has played just as big a part.

Let's not make this personal. When I sent those pics I was lonely and drinking heavily.

Well considering those people who took the loans were most likely uneducated, I doubt they heard. ;)

Same thing happens with credit card companies and college students or the world bank and 3rd world countries.

brazil's banks are safe because they didn't take the same risks their american counterparts did.

Personal responsibility....Sorry.

There is a common sense bell that has to go off when you are signing the paperwork on a 600K$ house, and you make 60K a year..Just sayin.

Many of my friends got in wayyyy over their heads, and I knew it and they knew it at the time, but did it anyway. Sad, but they made bad choices, and now are having to reap what they sowed.
