Pretty unusual.

Seems Rivera is sending a message.

How many of those are they limited to under the new CBA?

Isn't the limit of those for the season somewhere in the single digits?

Seems with the trend of teams not being able to tackle after byes this is a good idea.

Yeah, he must have watched yesterday's football games and realize that the Panther's season is far from over. All they need is to get the darn defense to act half way like the Ravens, Steelers or Gaints defense and the team could close the season with a realistically positive record.

it would be better if he only allowed the offense to wear pads, let the defense man up and grow a pair.

Ohhh, our little girls are growing up. But they need to learn not let the pads get full. Have to keep up good hygiene after all.

If it gets one more stop out of the defense a game then we start winning.

Limit of 14 padded practices during the regular season, 11 of which must be held during the first 11 weeks (club may hold two padded practices during only one week) with remaining three during the final six weeks.

Padded practices limited to three hours plus a walk-through with position coaches not to exceed 30 minutes.

I really hate those new rules limiting padded practices.

Wonder what the injury statistics this year in the league is vs last year.

Not sure if this is a fair year to judge because of the lockout.

Are you saying you think the lockout helps that statistic or hurts it?

I guess either way you would be right.
