Week 10: The bad new and the good news

20 posts in this topic

Right now, The Golden Calf of Bristol is one of the worst QBs in the NFL but u wouldn't tell it by the fact that his teams helps him win. Not the Panthers...They expect their rookie QB to have great games every Sunday and the defense and special team can just continue to fug up cause Cam and the Offense will get the job done. Giving up 20 plus points on an average to ur opponents weekly isn't "playing better."

Yesterday's game should be a reminder that a team is only as strong as it's weakest link and Cam nor the offense are the weakest links on the Panther. All the Titans showed when they "shut down" Cam was how pathetically bad this team really is without him practically doing everything, every week.

If the Broncos can figure out and fix their weakest link, then why can't the Panthers. This is week 11..Enough with the excuses of the teams youth and injuries. Other teams have new head coaches, youths and injuries but they find a way to win because they really want to win and they go out and play that way.

I am beginning to believe that many of u intentionally focus all of ur attention on the offense and expect more out of them because they are playing the best out of the rest of the team. But that's the wrong mentality. U need to demand that the rest of the team catch up to the offense. Especially if u don't want what happened on Sunday to happen again.

Kalil had his worse gm of the year. Thats what i noticed

Whoa whoa whoa easy there killer. Byron Bell is a boring UDFA and Kalils brother is in the draft this year at Bell's position. That's way more exciting than Bell. We aren't going to go and start using logic and stupid litttle things like facts get in the way of possibly having two Kalils. Can you imagine how fun that would be?

Were going to blame Bell, and that's all there is to it. Even if the facts don't live up to it.

Ron mentioned that Kalil had hurt his wrist on Sunday, so I think that was a major factor in his suckage and the low snaps that affected Cam's play.

Yeah, Kalil was out for a few snaps early in the game. That hurt, and I think we underestimate the impact Shockey has on our O. Olsen lacks a certain toughness that Shock brings, and we are not the same when we have to lean on Olsen alone.

We got whipped. It sucked to watch, but at least it didn't knock us out of playoff contention or anything like that. I'm real interested to see how the team reacts, and how Newton adjusts to having a spy on him. Hopefully the Lions try that too, and find that the Panthers are now prepared for it and make them look stupid for attempting it. Even if they still have trouble executing, just seeing the adjustments will make me happy.
