As for my seats, I'm less interested in selling them than I am giving them away to my Rotary club who will use them to fund raise for an orphanage in the eastern Ukraine.

I get a tax break, some casual fan gets to see a game, and some children will get medicine, socks etc.

But thank's for the interest anyway..

What a tease. Then why did you start a thread about getting rid of your tickets? Just to have a bitch session?

Defensive coordinator Sean McDermott called Keiser and Neblett winners "you can build a program around."

Uh yeah. What is he supposed to say?

Defensive coordinator Sean McDermott called Keiser and Neblett losers "you wouldn't want to see the field. Like, ever."

i read down to "it makes me want to puke and figured it wasn't worth further reading.

as to the actual article, i liked it. esp these parts...

Rivera said he has stuck with some young players longer this season than he might have normally in order to gauge their abilities. Though Rivera did not mention Edwards by name, Fox angered the front office last year with his refusal to play the former Appalachian State quarterback.

Edwards has remained the Panthers' punt returner all season despite a 5.4-yard average that is next to last in the league.
.
.
.

Also last week, the team activated rookie cornerback Brandon Hogan from the physically unable to perform list and signed Keiser, an undrafted free agent, from the practice squad.

"We're trying to find the guys we think are going to be the best and develop them," Rivera said. "We're talking about the future here. I'm talking about a nice, long run with a group of men who really want to be here."

Defensive coordinator Sean McDermott called Keiser and Neblett winners "you can build a program around."

Keiser had two tackles against the Titans and dropped running back Chris Johnson for a 3-yard loss.

"He made a big-time tackle in the flat on a Pro Bowl running back on one of the first plays of his NFL career," McDermott said. "We showed that to the team (Monday) morning. I thought he did a real nice job. He's a warrior. ... And he's done nothing but earn the respect of the players and coaches."

After a promising first half of the season in which the Panthers (2-7) played well offensively and were in every game, Rivera was disappointed to see his team take a step back in the lopsided loss to the Titans.

In the locker room after the game, veteran offensive lineman Jordan Gross said Rivera made it clear that - more than halfway through the season - the future would start now.

"He said that was nowhere near good enough, that he was going to watch the tape and see who wants to play and who doesn't, and go from there," Gross said. "He didn't lie to us. He didn't sugarcoat it."

Rivera believes his team got the message.

"I hope they do understand. We'll reiterate it," he said. "It's part of the game. It's the nature of the game. This is about a developing football team."

it's not giving up on the season. it's about trying to build and develop a consistent winning football team. we are looking at what we have to work with to find out who we want to build around. the young guys they have been giving a lot of PT to have been in there to see how they fit into what the team wants to do.

i love what gross said rivera told them. they were going to look at the tape to see who wants to play and who doesn't. we should be seeing some changes this coming week in personnel, mainly who gets more PT. guys who were playing half assed football will probably be sitting while they put in hungry guys to see what they have.

the franchise seems like a mess right now

seriously, they are rebuilding. it was bound to get messy. can't dwell on the mess today, though. you've got to be thinking ahead just like they are.

unless these guys actually have solid talent.

the guys coaching them and playing with them have a hell of a lot better clue than you, i'd think.

a paragraph later it talks about why they liked what keiser did and mcdermott followed it by saying this...

"He made a big-time tackle in the flat on a Pro Bowl running back on one of the first plays of his NFL career," McDermott said. "We showed that to the team (Monday) morning. I thought he did a real nice job. He's a warrior. ... And he's done nothing but earn the respect of the players and coaches."

i hope it's true and that these guys are solid. i'm not sure why anyone would hope that they aren't solid enough guys to build a team around...unless you just want guys you've heard of and like.

It was that way from the start. Want proof? Look at the amount of pass plays we ran in the RZ and the way we isolated our DTs in the first 4.

The 2012 preseason started in October.

i don't have a problem with this. for the fans, aside from this past week, we are getting to see some exciting football. might not result in wins right now, but it's been fun to watch anyway.

the wins will come starting next year. i'm excited to watch this team grow.
