The Canes are sitting in sixth in the Eastern Conference, one point behind both fourth-place Philadelphia and fifth-place Pittsburgh. All the games here on out are big. The Canes are aiming for their 10th straight home win. The Rangers are sitting in 7th.


March's first star, Cam Ward will be in net for the Canes.

Every sports oulet calls us one of the most dangerous teams going into the playoffs and NO ONE wants to see us in round one....

Going to be a great game...Need to get under Avery skin from the beginning. Force him to make some penalties...just like last time

Nice win for the Canes. Now, all we need is to see this kind of play down the stretch and into the playoffs. Last year at this time, I was just as happy with their play, before they suddenly choked in the last week of the season. I don't want to see a repeat of that.

Guys looked really good on the pk for the most part. the brand of defense they are playing under Mo is keeping the guys in it. they arent cheating back on D like they used to under Peter and thats whats making Cam look so good. Great game Rosie. Look out Pens, the storm is coming!
