His voice, his demeanor isn't intimidating at all

I listened to his recent press conference and he knocked on the table and I said ummm....

He is right about us learning to develop a killer instinct though

seems like a petty criticism I would be even less enthused if he was angry and firey.

Coaches are meant to be intimidating? Thought they are used to teach, develop, and guide. Who gives a poo if he doesn't chew leather boots as snacks.

No, its a rebuilding season. Rivera is waiting to be good (or give a poo) until next year. You didn't get the memo?

No... they're not

But the team takes on the personality of the coach. Then you question why we seem so undisciplined

instead of screaming and yelling at the players rivera just tells it like it is with a calm intensity. just look at his crazy eyes and you can see when he's roaring on the inside.

You line Coach up next to Mike Tomlin, and tell me who you're most intimidated by.

so what we see in press conferences is the way he is with the team in meetings and in practice.

brilliant observation there.

ever thought that he's a different way in talking to reporters than he is when he's conducting business with the players?
