I Know You Want a DT But...

He needs to learn how to control his emotions, as a lot of his flags come from him trying to finish plays after the whistle.. different from Suh, who is just dirty and completely delusional about it.

You clearly have not seen a lot of full games from this guy, because they are anything but finishing plays, it's headbutting players, shoving unaware players, things like that.

Even if he was the best player on the board by far at a position of need, which he won't be when we're selecting, even if he falls into the second round, I'd take the second best player on the board over him in a heartbeat.

He's just not what we need on a young team with a second year head coach trying to get everyone to buy into his ideas.

That being said, if he had his head on straight, people would be talking about him to MLB prospects that they're saying Luck is to QB prospects over the last however many years, he could be that good.

Probably because Burfict is in fact a MLB.

Well played, mods. Well played...

I would love to have him only if he falls to us in the second though between Vontaze, Manti Te'o out of Notre Dame, Luke Kuechly out of Boston College, and Dont'a Hightower out of Alabama one of those linebackers can be had with our high second round pick

This forum was slow.

How far would he have to drop for you to be comfortable with the Panthers taking a chance on him?

Yes, his history proceeds him, but clearly the coaching situation at ASU is not conducive to proper discipline of players. Using a core of players and coaches who demand respect and a professional attitude as role models, why can't he turn things around once he reaches the NFL?

Ummm....I would like to know why you believe this?

Because taking a players shoe and throwing it so he has to come out of the game, choking an offensive lineman after the whistle, throwing a punch after the whistle and screaming at a ref until they're forced to throw a flag is all finishing plays....amirite....

If players are on the sideline laughing and joking around while they're losing, and nobody on the staff is trying to do anything about it, that screams lack of discipline. Add to that that Erickson has to be nothing more than a lame duck coach at this point.

Uh it was Burfict and a couple other guys that have been referred to as his "posse" all year. That's not really on Erickson....

Mods, is there a way I can filter out those who think we need to use a top 3 pick on a WR? My eyes keep bleeding.
