With our need for picks in the upcoming draft, and with some mocks saying that Cleveland will use one of their picks, most of the time their first on Trent Richardson RB, would you offer Jonathan Stewart up to the Browns for one of their firsts?

He has only one season left with us, we cannot afford to resign him, and we are not fully using the RB's now.

Yeah I am not sure either. He is an unproven back.

I think he'll be good, but I don't know how you can say he has more value right now.

Seems you can get RB's anywhere these days, I wouldn't bite if I was Cleveland, even IF he was willing to resign with them.

Cleveland would be extremely foolish to give us a 1st for JStew.

Would they be smarter to spend one on Richardson?

when j-stew gets his chance as the feature back, wherever it may be, he's going to absolutely EXPLODE

I love Stew but I don't know if I'd decline that. Two solid picks (hopefully) with DeAngelo still in the mix sounds pretty decent to me.

Cleveland will be replacing the head case that have for a back now and most think it will be Richardson.

They have 3 pick in the first two rounds and I say give them a seldom used back who runs faster at 235 than Richardson does at 222.

Get one of those picks or let Stewart walk away at end of next season since we will not be able to sign him anyway. It is a Panther tradition.

What makes you think we wont be able to resign him?

The cap will go up and any number of contracts can be reworked between now and then.

We don't even use one back sufficiently in new offense. Why pay big bucks for two?

Double Trouble is no more. It is centered around Cam.

The only way I trade J-Stew, is if you could assure me I will get Marcus Lattimore when he declares. (Of course we will have to see if he comes back healthy from his injury) Concerning the cap, I would trade Smitty, and trade or release Wharton to make space for future players on the roster. (Which will make space for J-Stew)
