Russia WAS the invading country.

sorry meat, been away... see below

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_South_Ossetia_war

"The 1991–1992 South Ossetia War between Georgians and Ossetians left most of South Ossetia under control of an internationally-unrecognised regional government backed by Russia. Some Georgian inhabited parts remained under the control of Georgia. This mirrored the situation in Abkhazia. Already increasing tensions escalated during the summer months of 2008.

point: cnn is full of poo. your country wants you to be afraid of russia (and china, watching cnn this week, they only refer to china as communist china" which is funny cause your guys are kinda forced to be nice to them seeing that they own you)

Whether or not anyone wants to admit it, every day when we wake up we are at war. We are at war with those who want to destroy our lives and way of life based solely upon where we are born or who we call God or any number of various reasons. We have a right and a duty to gather information where and when it is possible to protect the lives of our country and ourselves. Say we are violating human rights if you want to. Innocent people are getting hurt, ours, theirs. There is no way to deny that. Sometimes innocents get hurt. And I am sure that it is with the greatest regret that it is done. But those doing it understand that is necessary and why it is so.

Bush was blatant about it in creating Gitmo.

I think You are giving W a lot of undeserved credit for creating gitmo. The detention camp at gitmo has been operated since 1987.
