Not every coordinator in the NFL wants to run out and get the first HC job that pops up.

He might want to go - but he might also not like what's available...or he might not be considered...or he might not think it's the best time for him to do so because he'll want a longer history of great offenses behind him....

...or he might just want to spend some more time with a young QB with huge upside that could make him look better and better over time thus furthering his own dreams.

This is really a moot discussion because none of us actually have any information to go on other than him running an effective offense and helping preside over an epic one season turnaround in that phase of our game. :nopity:
