Breaking Bad Season 5 (Here)

I loved the scene where Jesse was crying over the possibility that he lost the cigarette and some innocent person may die over his mistake while Walter just doesn't seem to care about anything anymore. Walter has lost his humanity while Jesse has gained his.

If this series is about Walt's journey into the heart of darkness then Jesse is the emotional center of it. It seems like the further away from his humanity Walt ventures the more complete a human Jesse becomes.

They really are yin and yang.

I watched episode two with some friends, it was the first time I had ever watched it with a group of people and it was a terrible idea. This one bitch kept talking the whole time and this other guy would eat chips really loud and talk with her.

I couldn't hear what the fug Walt said to Skyler at the end and then it was just over. I was pretty pissed.

He told her it gets easier.

That sometimes people do the things they do for the ones they love.

Something along those lines.

It was definitely one of my least favorite episodes of the series. Mike is badass and all but a whole episode about him is too much.

This is Breaking Bad, it's not always action. I loved the episode. It's a slow build up. Some serious planning. Also a lot of character development. Walt is just going off in the deep end. Watching Scarface is symbolism to where he is now, looking at this guy probably as an idol or something. Season 1 Walt probably wouldn't have watched it. Also forcing himself back into the house, totally awkward. Then his convo with Jesse at the end, sounds like Walt plans on taking Mike out of the equation eventually, maybe after everything is setup? It's going to get crazy for sure.

I may not have heard correctly, but didn't Walt also say something along the lines of, "nobody gets out alive" or something while watching Scarface? Granted, I may just be remembering incorrectly.

There's definitely indications now that Walt is considering eliminating Mike and/or the guys he's paying off so he can take a bigger cut. Very interested to see how this plays out--Mike won't go down quite as easily as Gale or Victor. Also, Skylar is like a ticking time bomb. Walt might have her committed or something to keep her quiet. Or maybe guilt will finally consume her and she'll do something drastic...who knows.

He said "I think everybody in this movie dies."

I think things will start to come unraveled next week.

The preview made it look like they're going to lose their methylamine supplier.

This was my favorite episode so far this season. If you need a lot of action go watch wipe out.
