Oh my self-esteem is awesome : D

So says the guy that responds to every single Cam thread with the nut hugging of another QB who isn't even in the same league as Cam. Feeling inadequate somewhere?

Stay strong Grits.

Aikman didn't start his entire rookie year, but he was 0-11 in the games that he started.

Manning was 3-13 his first year with the Colts.

Mark Sanchez went to the AFCCG.....amazing what a strong D and a 1000 yard rusher can do.

there is a dude on there that keeps calling our offense a "gimmick" and we are providing a "disservice" to Cam because we aren't requiring him to learn how to play QB in the NFL. hahahaha :out:

incorporating elements into an offense that Peyton Manning flat out doesn't have the talent or ability to pull off.....doesn't make it a gimmick offense. The read option is something middle school, high school, and college kids defend every week.......it is a staple of football now. Just b/c the NFL hasn't had the caliber of QBs to pull it off doesn't make it a gimmick.

It is actually a comically simple play.

Dalton has 3100 yards and 20 TDs. Green has 1000 yards and 7 TDs. While I realize facts are a confusing thing, to just say all Dalton does is throw it up to Green isn't even close to true.

dalton is a good game manager...kind of like matt ryan.

he'll probably have pretty close to the same level of success.

and the same ceiling.

nothing special about him. just above average and good enough to not lose games that your defense keeps the score down on.

when going downfield......on big boy throws..... yeah, he pretty much lobs it up for Green to make a play or plays it safe. When you play it safe....you can get yardage and TDs also. I mean, you can checkdown on an underneath route a WR can take it the distance and do a flip over a defender for a TD. That counts. That is a WR doing most of the work on a relatively easy low risk throw. Cam has some of those...but he makes the more difficult ones as well at a much higher rate.

Dalton looked better early than late.

Cam is looking better as the season is going on.

that shouldn't be ignored.

bengals are heading into the playoffs coasting on momentum they created the first half of the year rather than on the momentum they have right now.

usually that results in 1 and done.

Doesn't matter how he gets them. 2100 yards and 13 TDs say he does more than lob it up to Green.
