How insanely awful is the crop of GOP candidates?
Bill Clinton emerged from a bunch of no names so nondescript they were called the Six Pack back in 1992. Despite his Scandal of the Week, he seized control midway through the primaries and defeated Bush thanks to a bad economy and Ross Perot.

Mitt Romney 2012 > Bill Clinton 1992
Let's not forget that Bill Clinton stands no chance in 1992 if it isn't for Perot. Perot siphoned voters away from GHB, much like Nader from Gore in 2000, and Gary Johnson/Ron Paul from Romney in 2012 if they run as independents.

You're not hearing much about Romney right now because the right isn't thrilled with him. He's much more of a centrist candidate. If (hopefully when) he gets the nomination, he'll stack up much better next to Obama than any of the others. I know of a few people who were going to vote for Romney four years ago who ended up voting for Obama because they didn't like McCain/Palin.

I can't wait to see Romney debating health care reform with Obama, they should stop talking and start hugging each other when that happens.

Yeah that is going to be awkward. Romneycare isn't the same as Obumacare, but if you support one, you are more apt to support another.

What about straight ticket Dem voters who support Obumacare and then "lololol@romneycare"?

That sounds like a really big demographic that you need to worry about.

Is this an aftershock of the News of the World scandal or why is FoxNews not being Republican-friendly?
I'm not sure you think any Democrat can run a country. It's all a matter of opinion. If they don't have an R beside their name then it's not good enough.
voter fraud is just as easy to track as welfare fraud, maybe you have some amazingly accurate statistics to disprove voter fraud as well

except, you know, that one time when bush beat gore

If anyone thinks that McCain lost the election due to voter fraud, you have reached a YouTube commenter level of stupidity.
