Should we resign Shockey?

I like him but he's a bit slow, maybe we can keep him as our 3rd TE. And hopefully Barnridge starts at #2.

He was slow this year and look what he did.

He is a serviceable TE and even better teammate.

This wouldn't be so hard of a question to answer if Olsen was a tougher player in traffic and in YAC..Shockey is all of those things, yet is pretty slow footed nowadays.

Given that Olsen has a long-term deal and that we just extended Barnidge, I think there is a real possibility that Shockey walks.

This is his LAST contract and he will look to get paid as much as possible.

Love having him....just preparing if he leaves.

depends. We really need a younger Shockey. Olsen is a little too one dimensional. Not sure we can count on Shockey to stay healthy.....probably got lucky on that deal this year.

hell yes. I love his attitude. we need that.

I used to hate Shockey because of his swagger but I love it now

I'd resign him in a heartbeat as long as he demands a resonable price, but I wouldn't over pay for him. We have bigger needs to spend money on.
