(Alex Smith has a great case when you think about it...if his play matches their record)

Romo?
what's the story, he came back from perennially sucking and sucked?
66 completion %, 8 yard avg, 4000 yards, 32 TDs, 13 turnovers is considered sucking?

I think Smitty is a tough sell. HE didn't have a lack of PERFORMANCE last season. His QBs did. He won it in 2005 due to the broken leg the year before. That's why Stafford gets it, IMO. Had Smitty had Cam, for example, last year and Cam had thrown for 4000 yds but Smitty didn't do jack. Then the next year went all out he'd make the case.
