WTH does that prove...I was saying sarcastically that yeah...they NEVER have corrections or retract statements.

But the subject here...which you're trying to deviate from by creating this dumbass strawman is...

A correction would be NYTimes incorrectly labeling a congressman as an R instead of a D.

This isn't a correctionable item...it's factually correct. It's a certain writing style and omission that's the issue you Obamabot.

what was omitted?

If you had read the link...

The Times also failed to identify Dodd as a Democrat in a June 2008 story about Dodd receiving a sweetheart mortgage interest rate from mortgage lender Countrywide Financial. By contrast, when Republican Rep. Vito Fossella of New York was charged with drunken driving in early May 2008, the Times worked his party affiliation into the second paragraph and invariably mentioned his Republican standing in its follow-up stories.

other than the libby thingy...those are RINOs anyway and voted mostly with democrats. Common mistake. Again...***** congressman...RINOs...you're not helping your point.

Fox made errors. NYTimes isn't making a factual error...it's a style of writing which masks the party affiliation EXCEPT when they see a republican in the news and want to emphasize party affiliation.

Wow you mean they voted on issues rather than party lines? fug that, hang those bastards.

Another "they are not really Republicans" excuse!

From now on Rodeo, just call anyone you want to convienently dismiss because they hurt your argument as a DINO and you will be all set, ok?

or maybe just maybe could it be that people are generally going to be better acquainted with jesse jackson jr. than they are with a former representative named after a character from the sopranos?

or maybe just maybe you're going to write a little differently when you write about a story that's been going on for the better part of half a year
